im bored... This ish how bored i am @ MCYS...Do i look like im happy? and look closely.. im wearing TWO jackets... its so cold that my lips and nails are BLUE most of the time...

haha no lah these files are not mine.. its the previous staff whose on leave and i took over her desk..DESK onli.. not work... my god man.. it will take ages to type all these in the system..

Okie..today was okie.. normal.. did more stuff... discussion.. done up some evaluation .. tlaked to more people and learnt more stuff... ya da ya da ... office work.. wat u expect..not tat im complaining.. its just normal.. too normal.. but i got work to do so shall blog another time about the MCYS adventure....til den..

MY First TWO Days in Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS)

Right.... okie.. My first day in MCYS...hmm... normal.. typically... boring...

it is an old building...(to think its a ministry.. where is our tax money used?!! den again .. when did i see it OBVIOUSLY used before..) hahaha

Anyway.. its super guarded!! once u step in you must register wif ur IC and stuff and they give you this super big and ugly white sticker to put it on your chest...
I mean come on lah... its like a primary sch kid orientation where u put ur name tag in front...

anyways... i am working under the Probation Services Branch (PSB).. yes, we handle troubled matters.. or should i say i saw the dark side of human society .
i mean, when you are living a reasonably comfortable average joe life... u can never imagine how 'BLACK' the society is painted in some ways and we are trying to paint it colourful again.. all the probation officers deserve my utmost respect man...

I shall talk about my job scope later but im more interested in sharing what i saw and experienced in PSB that i might never have the chance to....

I kinda like the culture inside cox so far, i hab not seen or felt any OFFICE POLITICS yet... i can tell you, the people working in my department dun do the work for money... its not a job.. its their life... they eat, sleep and live with their work.. its about passion for people and changing their lives.

There is no back stabbing for sales profits. maybe tat's a gd thing about wokring for the government, you do the job for the people, not for money...

My colleagues are very nice and friendly people and they are sincere in welcoming me and teach me life skills.. =)

Howeverm the flip side ish, i have my own desk, but no computer. tat means for the past two days.. i didn really did anything 'constructive'.... i read a lot of materials though.. and their library power man! got espresso machine ..NIiiCEee!!

okie my job... ish to set up and plan a sports club for probation youths and to do healthy lifestyle for the staff (basically ish like Workplace health promotion) la.. haha its like SPT during TEP lo........

But..BUt.. i seriously beginning to get 'class sick' already.. yesh. i miss sch life.. i miss my class ..SOBx...... i sincerely hope each one of them is doing well and all the best in their respective ipp co.

I MISS MY CLASS KHAKIS......

ARMY HALF MARATHON

Okie..last night work at wine hut til 2.40am ... shagged man.. especially after the post celebration i had after exams.. den woke up at 6.30aM today and dragged myself to the Army Half Marathon kick off at Esplanade... oh man... but it was GRrreaaT ! weather was bad though it rained half way through and i was drenched !!! tml ipp.. could be my MC day also.. cox i starting to feel a bit weak.. esp after all the late nights... (funny thing is.. some one already know tat im felling sick even before i typed it here..hmmm.. very fishy.. but appreciate the thought =) ) Anyways.. some photos taken today ^_^

Starting point.. 8am man.. and i have to run 10 km !!!

Finished in around 1hr 30mins plus..
