Okie, I rested for two days already and yup.....
But i knew that 'Honeymood' period wun last long when I reach MCYS on a monday morning..


Had to do evaluation report (once again..) and this time more things have to be accounted for.. and yup but im already used to it ..yeh..heehee


But the 'atomic bomb' so called, hit on me when boss sms me schedule

Me (SMS) :"boss..im not too sure about fri.. but tonight i got sth on already....."


Well..another packed week just as i expected..
And i dun blame boss at all,
not that he dun want me to rest,
But there is a wine fair coming up this week (thurs to Sun) at Expo
Wine Hut has a booth there and boss will be there the whole day with loretta.


The cute husband and wife team =) hot school, so will only be available on weekends..
Val has her own day job to do so.. yea..
Liting has performance at Phuket for the whole week(wish her All the best ^_^)


Wine Hut is down to uncle cum chef 'Frankie Foo' and the Panda eyes 'Clara @ ur ONLY service' to guard the shop..

My weekly Camera UpdaTes ...

Right okie.. I had my 2 days of rest. spent some time with my family, got time to think things through.. got time to relax and not think things through.. got time to..read book and think things through again.... well... you get the picture.. =p


Anyways, Im coming back... moving on to another life chapter soon.. IPP finishing, last sch semester starts..but hey... a new ending is just another beginning ...

The below three pictures are.. MY HOME...my hometown.. the place where i was born and grew up and still living but FAILEd to appreciate as the days goes by... Its been a long time since i come downstairs on a sunny lazy afternoon ..(i was sick so i cant go anywhere) .. and as i was on my way to the doctor... i stop and looked..."My God... things look so different but feels the same..." it brings back memories...

This mama shop is where i will always use my last 10cents to buy ICE packet.. you know those ice juice sweet stuff that they put inside the plastic tubes... Its still selling .. just not so much anymore...
Yeah...i always walk this route to the playground at the end of the road...
This fitness corner thing is new though.. i have never walked on it before.. who walk stones nowadays? ...When there is OSIM 'Zap Zap Zap' lah...OTO 'Shake Shake Shake' lah.. sometimes.. why not just use HDB 'Walk walk walk' ..Free, convenient,..just nice for SING-GA-PO-REANs wat...except.. i forgot.. HDB's version does not come 'PAIN FREE'

Great...my day didn start right today.. actually it didn end right yesterday..
My throat was in pain yesterday and I was REALLY like 'a zombie celebrating halloween early @ wine hut'. I look dead.. So dead and in pain that Boss had to sent mi home early..
thanks boss..and to frank for that 'nutritious' soup he boiled for three hours =)


This morning, My throat was bleeding..there was a bit of blood action but i shall not elaborate on tat...
Dragged myself to MCYS and I might consider taking a 3 hours off to go home early...
My head feels lights man....coughing and squeezing now..*blows tissue.. I should leave this place actually. dun wanna spread the germs to my wonderful colleagues...

TOday im blogging about two topics. One is about my Personal Life, the other is about my personal opinion.


The difference between the two is, the first is what happens to me and im bothered about it.


the second is something that does not happen to me, but im also Bothered about it.


Right....the first one...there is only one word to describe my life for the whole of this week. 'TIRED' .


Maybe two : 'VERY TIRED'


Been working Everynight @ wine hut since monday, den tue, den wed, den thurs and later, FRI (PEAK nights)...
woke up 6.30am, start work @8.30am in MCYS , off @ 6pm, rush MRT to wine Hut @ 7plus..til 12 mid plus...


Oh well...Life's HArd..but oh well (*shrugs shoulders) wat to do, wine hut is kinda seriously short of 'WORKING' staff recently... cox we do have a lot of staff under wine hut's belt, but .. yea they're just not working.. and i understand =) sch's starting, work commitments elsewhere.. Everybody's busy.


Anyway, ya 4 hours of sleep everyday is no joke though..Panda eyes bigger than Panda bear. and im like a zombie @ work... expression-less .


But finally Reports done..kinda of, waiting for another round of vetting...


Fell alseep during work @ wine hut yesterday.. @ 11plus.. only one table.. first I was Standing..stonning ..den sitted down on the sofa.. proved to be too un resistable .. and den..zzzZzzzz ...


!!! RIGHT! (*wakes up) k k back on to the topic.. yea, been having some sight problems as well... not that I need glasses, but im finding it difficult to concentrate when people talk to me.. guess my brains is on shut down mode these days..Nothing seems to process inside these days..Geez..

Reports


As far as im concerned, Im never good at reports.
Well, considered average in a sense, I've got the points, but the format and phasing is a complete disaster.


Back in sch, we just submit the report and it never comes back.
I never knew what the problem is,
although i always felt it was not good enough.


In MCYS, I truely understand that nobody is perfect.
My reporting sucks.
And I have to get this harsh lesson from my supervisors.
No no dun get me wrong.


They didn scold me or anything.
They taught me patiently the right way to do a report.


But looking at the vast amount of vetting they did and how my work suddenly became unrecognisable, I was overwhelmed.
I hated how comfortable I have been in NYP.


Looking at my VETTED reports, I really think my reports in the past is RUBBISH.


It struck me.
you may have great ideas, Great way with people, creative thinking.
But in the real business world,
If your report SUCK,
who's going to read your ideas in the FIRST place??!!


Your director may not be a reporting person,
But if you cant get through your manager (who may be particular in writing) ,
NoBody's going to know of your 'GREAT' ideas.


I used to think that reports doesnt matter.
Bcox its what you do with people and the real task that matters.


But now,
I have to go back to kindergarden and learn my ABCs of reporting.


My god. I have to redo my two evaluation report.


I just finished a few proposal( 'Greatly vetted' )that is...


Den it struck me again,
How did you even get an A in your modules in the first place?


To me, im not worthy of the As,
bcox i cant even get through my simple ABCs.


REality...taught me a harsh lesson...

Reality seems to fall hard on me these days.
Been shot with sad departure, failing relationships with close ones, and the conviction of living in the realistic world of 'business'.


But i seem to just shrug it off.
or did I ?
I may be just pushing everything aside,
only to resurface later and filling up my mind.


convincing ppl about ur ideas seems harder that i thought.
MUCH harder.
work starts to get supressing, but if i don't leap at it,
Nothing will change. And i disagree with standards. sometimes.
challenging the management is the only way out.
For me.


always tangled in a BIG fish eat SMALL fish situation.
small fish is, me.
But im stubborn.
Small fish doesn't mean defeat.
Its just means i gotta work harder for victory.


Victory does not mean pride.
its means fulfilling humanity rights.
fighting for what you believe in.

I've got no time for those.

My weekend...


Join the 3 hour Aerobics Challenge @ Ngee Ann City by Amore Fitness.
Together with jaslin, fish and loretta =) thanks babes!


It was a mind blowing ..no no..
it was a 'POST BODY ACHING' experience man.!
3 hours, non stop cardio latino, kickboxing and hi-low aerobics exercises..
But it was fun doing it, sweating with all the ladies around =)
Fitness is after all, able to create a sense of bonding .. its not only food okie..
(although i must admit, its hard to resist the temptation of food...)


Goodie bad was GREAt... many stuffs lah.. but PINK bag man.. love the bag, dun like the colour...


Immediately after tat, went straight to work...Gosh! faints *_*
Could not really stand still, luckily not much customers.. so could sit down and rest my dieing legs....


Had a great chat with wine hut peeps including boss =) they're the great ppl to work with =)


Den in the end, left me and frank do closing, ate left over mooncake ..
cox i keep losing over the poker man! (Frank, got play cheat or not??..hee)


Sunday came and slept like a pig/log.
Very long never had such a gd night's sleep... but woke up finding myself paralyzed... whole back aching man..


Met with Fish and kong @ Bugis TCC, nice chatting time again =)
was myself and i felt very relax and happy, warm..
We crapped a lot but hey, tat's part of the fun man!


Den its not over yet, its already 1030pm!
head down to coffee bean and met up with kendy and ivan.
CB is closing down le.. not more free coffee there liao.. haix..


While waiting for them, played arcarde..my god.. i very long time never stepped into a arcarde center already..
hahaha so, changed a few coins and played with fish.
Cars, the shooting ones and DRUM Mania!!


Very childish as it may seem, but sometimes, its these simple innocent acts that makes you smile =) bcox you are just enjoying yourself...


NExt, went to Newton for makan..heehee had a gd time overall =) got car ma, so can stay so late, go so far... (heehee all thanks to dou dou's mum, who sponsored her car hee hee)


Den... next morning work..@ 830am... oh man.. draggin my feet again.. eyes like panda..very tired.. but dun know why.. inside, its warm and happy =) wahahaha hahah....Zzzzzzz...

Here's what Im thinking now....


Top 10 Office 'Attitudes' to be a 'Role MOdel' and get that promotion you've been waiting for...OR..'ACTING' through for...


10. Come at 9am instead of 830am and when ppl asked, say 'Was meeting with 'Clients"' or 'Oh, im working late tonight' and den when nobody is around after 6pm, leaVE as per normal....


9. You don't need to know the boss well, just know his/her Secretary well ...


8. Have lunch with diff groups of ppl .. you'll never know when you need help from them....Don't eat alone and be 'Anti Social'


7. Try to avoid 'arrows' at all cost...They are everywhere..waiting for you to do OT...


6. Do your work SLowly but not so slow til your boss complaints... just do enough at the scheduled dateline because MORE work will come for the early birds...


5. Do Not joke with your boss/supervisor..Know your limits...Don't cross the line thinking he/she's cool about it.. he/she maybe a BETTER actor than you...


4. Forget the come early. work late theory...its doesnt work anymore because WHO's going to notice??!! you are the only one left anyway...


3. Be Friendly with anybody in the building.. a small admin assisstant have the power to control the aircon temp of the department just a phone call away.. she knows the operations ppl wat...Do you?..even the director cant do that man...


2. Put a mirror infront of your lap top... You never know who's watching (spying) behind you...


And finally....


The number one attitude is.....
1. JUST LIVE IT ...have no views , you listen, you do, you shut up.


Live by these principles and ...Go ahead..Collect your Emmy Award..For 'Best Acting in a workplace.'


Frankly, its crap, its just sth i heard and saw in my office and wat other ppl told me about their office life....I dun live in non of the 'attitudes'


The Best way is to get a job that you like and you are yourself every single day. No acting required, Just yourself.
