A $40 adventure race that left me 'disabled' and $80 more broke.
Okie.
i super need to write this unique experience all in one day.
that unfortunately happened to me on this very day.
First.
woke up @ a timing of 6am for the X Physique 2007by NTU Sports Club.
My team, Yi Hui, Jamie and Fish are called in 'Si Duo Hua' *it means four flowers in mandarin.
starting point at Youth PArk.
Alright.
once the timing starts, we were WAYYyyy behind the teams who suddenly 'disappeared'
i admit.
we were there to experience the obstacles.
they were there to win.
THey were all decked in camper, deuters and what-have-you-not equipments for adventure race.
We?
we head out empty handed, with only our cue cards in hand.
No bags, no water bottles, no wet suit.
Zhai rite? haha
The race was alright, typical adventure sports.
i shall elaborate about the race later.
highlight of the day?
i sprained my bloody ankle.
...
yesh.
and i ignored it and paid the price at home.
with pig leg like ankle.
swollen like 'ter ka'
brusies follow.
pain gradually behind...

my mum was shocked!
once again.. she has to go through this process of nerve wreacking and heart throbbing experience everytime i came home 'disabled'

Brought me to this chinese sin seh in clementi recommended by a neighbour
My parents went asking around and 'advertising' that thier poor daughter is in pain.

All except my ankle.

den he proceeded to twist. yes TWIST my NECK.

i felt like i almost died.
den he said my hips went out of the way while i sprain my ankle.

while i still recovery from the shock of the head twisting stunt.
He finally touched my ankle and

tears flow fast.
sweating like mad.
luckily,
my mum was there
i felt a bit comfort with her presence. =]
but still...
OMG!!!
it feels that i've just escaped from hell.
given a second chance in life.
