A long breakfast journey at Gloria Jean's Coffee

The scones was alright, nicely layed out. I had a GJ Granny Hot Cocoa. the milk form on top, WOah! totally blow me off!. after all these years of la kopi-ing, this ish one of the best form i've tasted. Firm, creamy and tasty! yum yum =] the drink overall however a bit too sweet towards the end when its cold. but still, its best drunk hot !!! recommendation of the month: Gloria Jeans @ RAffles City.

Wahaha.
wahaha.
yes. yes. yes.
Smiling. feeling relax and happy.
finally.
I get to relax at a nice cafe.
have a hot coca with breakfast,
with no worries about work. (NOt for now though)
its 9plus am in the morning.
yes, here i am, at RAffles City, admist the cleaners and staff preparing for yet another hard day's work, Im, indulging in my breakfast and lappy. hahas.

With my handy lap top,
i get to blog too...
wow.
utterly relaxing.

i love to la kopi.
Not just because u get to gossip with friends. (although it is, temping to gossip behind people's back when they are not around. but dun get me wrong. I'm just 'concerned' about people's welfare. its different. =p)
having said that,
my la kopi times are best, settled at a nice cool cafe, not too noisy
prices not too expensive (im STILL a budget student okie) and with a cosy, warm ambience.

I have, although not been to all cafes, but have tried MAny.
Some dun see me anymore (obviously why) while others, i frequent a lot =] those are mostly the 'great service but no service charge type'.
I am in the service line myself.
I truely understand a service provider's sorrows.

Enough about la kopi,
I thought a few major things that I can finally find time to think about.

- Renovating my room is in plan, a MAJOR one i suppose.
- Further studies are also in mind. Though i hope to broaden my knowledge to see what the world can offer, and mostly importantly, What I can AFFORD.
- Of course, my new found job starting April. : As a fitness instructor @ Ngee Ann Poly Gym. 1 year contract. stable 5 days / wk job. comfortable salary, for a poly fresh grad, what can I expect?
- What are my plans after my 1 year contract, after all, this is only a break for me to decide what I what and where im i going.
- What job I what and picture what my life will be.
- plus, many others, which it wil take a few decades to write all.. lols.

Starting to work at wine hut again.
Great feeling.
I always feel at home at wine hut.

Great food, Great company that never fails to brighten up my day.
I enjoy being with people who makes me laugh.
The 'husband and wife' team, ALWAYS a joy to work with.
Laugher after laugher during work.
suddenly late night working isnt that bad after all...=]

oh and yesterday, i was reading a past week paper.
I have to mention this on my blog.
but im pretty sure most of you read it in the newspaper before.
After the A Levels results,
Headlines: "RJC Cries over 3As results"

0_o
Note to them:
First, im sorry that the results wasnt what you expected.

Second, JUST WHAT THE HELL is your PROBLEM??!!!
DO you guys have any idea how many people are envy over just a SINGLE 'A' they get in their results slip?
Answer: Definately MUCH MORE than your RJC, SAJC, NJC ,ACJC population combined altogether.

Yes, I truely understand the fact that not having a 'perfect score' meant NO scholarships. To you, dreams are destroyed, hopes all tarnished.
From me to you : "WAKE UP LAH"

There are reasons why you people cry over it.
BUT.
In my opinion,
there are also reasons why you should not. BEcause:

1. What exactly is a perfect score? getting all As? My god. Haven you people heard : "There is NO SUCH THING as a PERFECT world." or "Nothing is perfect". Live with it. Get it over and done with. WAKE UP!

2. Even with your perfect score, what does it really mean? Does it mean you are perfect workers who knows everything? Are you guys perfect workers? Can you guys survive the throat cut throat working world? There are people with 'Honours' and 'PhDs' graduates that are bloody lousy workers who dosen even know how to operate a simple photocopy machine. IQ is outdated. we are looking for EQ already.

3. If you guys are 'crying a river' over the A level results of NOT getting PERFECT Scores. You are so damn insulting. Cox all the poly, ITE , private students can go jump down China's great wall.

4. Blame your parents, school mates, teachers and the markers for the pressure and stress that they bring you. Guess What? It just take a pri school kid to know the true meaning of 'I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.C.E' What took you so long? You are what you do, what you think and what you believe, the rest of the people around are just 'audience'. So start your OWN performance already and stop living up to OTHER people's expectations. LIVE your OWN expectations.

5. Please, cry and MOVE on. Its not the end of the world. The Moon dosen't stop for you. Just because you are RJC dosen mean you are NOT HUMAN. Humans, unlike animals, learn from mistakes, take failure to their stride and MOVE ON.

My god... i don't even know why im pissed.
But,
I know,
you guys made me realised one thing,
i should not rely entirely on scholarships or bonds for my education.
Nobody own me a living.
I should live my own education and strive my own path if possible.
Even if it means borrowing from banks and in debt. at least,
Im fighting my own path of light.
So,

Thanks RJC students.
You guys thought me a valuable lesson.
but please.
stop crying and move on.
MOVE!
