"Met up with lala and fishy @ city hall after that.. wanted to eat the super nice cheap and good thai food @ Shaw Tower but it was closed till tue.. I guess this restaurant can afford not to open for a few days due to super good business.. Decided to try the Jap-Korean restaurant beside Creation Cafe after much deliberation. After all, we always wanted to try the food there..


Lala and fishy ordered the ramen while i took a saba bento set, complete with miso soup, sashimi, chawamushi and iced green tea for the grand price of $13.90.. Btw,the restaurant do not charge service charge! We had "jiao zi" as a side dish.. Initially, when the drinks came, me and fishy were disappointed as the drinks tasted "horrible". Mine, iced green tea, freshly brewed, i guess, and without sugar, fishy, soursop, diluted.. So we thought we made a wrong choice.. But we were surprised by the food though.. The ramen soup base was very nice.. For me, the sashimi was very fresh and chewy for the low price and the chawamushi was super fragrant and delicious.. The "jiao zi" was one of the better ones i have tasted so far.. A very satisfying meal!! :)


After that, we went to get home-made ice cream.. hehe.. and headed to wine hut... Although i felt weird that lala and fishy working so hard and i'm slacking, i stayed for dinner.. hehe.. me and lala went to sheng siong to buy our dinner, "homemade pancakes".. We bought bananas, lala's favourite, instant pancake mix that can serve "24" pancakes,canned peach and orange juice.. after much experimenting and "accidents", ahem, we finally created our own dinner, complete with our own melted chocolate sauce, ice cream and orange juice..hehe."
